YK Woodsball Field Rules
General
1. Play fair - play honorably. Respecting other players is the backbone of a good paintball game
2. Absolutely no drugs or alcohol permitted before, during, or after play on the field area. Leave the field to pursue your personal interests. We do not need negative media or civilian attention.
Paintball Markers/Guns
3. Use proper trigger control and respect the field areas. There are three areas: The field, the safe zone (cars), and the target range.
In the field you must have masks on and there is only the mercy rule for guns.
In the safe zone ALL weapons are to be disabled and NOT pointed towards ANY person.
In the target range, you can enable your weapon, and test fire it. In general, only put your finger on the trigger if you intend to shoot somebody. On your third warning for this you will be asked to leave.
Masks
4. On the field, masks stay on at ALL TIMES. At any time, if a mask is removed so that the eyes can be shot at, any player on the field yells "game", and the game is over. Next incident the player is ejected from play for the day. If you have to defog - head to the cars...
5. If you are within close range (10ft), the attacking player must say "mercy" instead of shooting, and the defending player can give up. If the defending player is ok with getting shot and believes he is within cover he can decline mercy and swing for a shot. At this point, normally he is shot in the back...
Gameplay - Getting hit
When hit put your hand/gun up and shout "HIT" several times... walk back to your reinsertion point with your hands up clearly. Watch out for walking through firefights. Even hands up, you might get hit.
